White Sugar Cookies

1 C. oleo
1 C. sugar
1 egg
1 t. vanilla
1/2 t. baking soda
1/2 t. cream of tartar
2 1/2 C. flour
1/2 t. salt

Roll into balls. Dip glass in sugar and press down. Bake at 350 degrees for 10-12 minutes.
